Sign Language: Level 1, Week 4.
Published November 13th, 2009 in Learn sign language, Learn American sign, ASL, learn sign language online, learning sign language, how to learn sign languageYesterday, lunch time came and I received a phone call saying that our sign language tutor was ill and so the class was cancelled. Which was rather disappointing because my weekly sign language class is a nice time to mix with a wide variety of people.
Despite class being cancelled a few of us decided to get together to have a practice and teach the two girls who didn’t attend the last class what they missed. It was another get together in the local pub this time it was much quieter and we actually got seats.
It was only quick practice for hour going over places signs and debating regional differences. We also had attempted watching some informative videos online which can be found for free at bslhomework.org.uk (part of signature) and only requires you to sign up for it for anyone intrigued in learning more about BSL. Tonight it is our first deaf club so I will update on that later.
